We pick you up from your hotel at 4:30 am to leave the city of Cusco. The journey to Upis town takes three and a half hours, passing through picturesque towns. Along the way, we'll make several stops to admire the scenery.

Upon arrival in Upis (the headtrail, 4,350m/ 14,272ft), we'll meet our local muleteers and horses and enjoy breakfast. Then, we'll embark on our adventure, hiking gradually uphill for about 2 hours and 30 minutes. The highland valley is home to llamas and alpacas, with Ausangate providing a dramatic backdrop.

Our lunch spot in Pamparapa (4,600m / 15,092 feet) offers stunning views of Ausangate. After lunch, we'll continue hiking for 3 hours and 30 minutes to reach our first campsite, Yana Qocha, at 4,650m (15,256 ft). From here, a two-hour hike leads us to the first pass, Arapa pass, standing at 4,800m (15,748 ft), where we'll be mesmerized by breathtaking views of eroded mountains and highland valleys.

Descending for 1 hour and 30 minutes, we'll reach our campsite, surrounded by the awe-inspiring presence of Ausangate mountain. All meals are included, ensuring we have the energy to fully enjoy the adventure.

We will wake you up at 5 am with coca tea or coffee delivered to your tent and you are given delicious breakfast for the day ahead.

In the morning, start hiking to Puca Cocha. Along the way, we are going to observe local farmers and alpacas, Ausangate snow-capped to your left side, and you will have English-speaking guide explaining about flora, fauna and talking about the landscape along the trail.

If we are lucky we might see condor, chinchillas, and vicuñas. Also, we will enjoy colorful lakes as we hike up to Arapa pass which is at 4989 masl (16567 feet) from where we will have an amazing view of colorful mountains.

Then hike down to our campsite of Ananta where we are going to be surrounded by high mountains! As usual, tents are going be set up for us to change, take a nap and have our lunch and dinner prepared by our professional chef.

Today is the day you've been eagerly anticipating. We'll wake you up at 03:45 am with coca tea delivered to your tent, signaling the start of an unforgettable adventure. Our journey begins with the first uphill climb towards Ananta pass (15,090ft-4500m-14,000feet). From this vantage point, the distant silhouette of Rainbow Mountain beckons, a tantalizing sight that fuels our excitement.

Descending from Ananta pass, we'll circle a serene lake before traversing a Peruvian flat terrain. As we approach the final uphill stretch to Rainbow Mountain, anticipation builds. Upon reaching the summit, we're rewarded with 360-degree views of the breathtaking landscape that surrounds us. Take your time to soak in the vistas, immersing yourself fully in the beauty of this remarkable place.

On our last day, we bid farewell to our horsemen and chef, grateful for their companionship and culinary expertise throughout our journey. As we journey downhill towards Qesuno town, we're treated to even more colorful landscapes, a fitting finale to our adventure. After our final supper together, it's time to say goodbye as we return to Cusco, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel around 6 pm, carrying with you memories that will last a lifetime.
